The exclamation point in the title because this is the first time in the history of the Western World -- indeed, in the 4.45 billion year history of planet Earth -- that I've been able to drive into the Powell Butte visitor center parking lot. Construction of underground reservoirs has closed access and development of the visitor's center for over two years!
It's so cool that on the way out I can now drive on paved roads from near the summit of Powell Butte to the intersection of Powell Blvd and 162nd Street. So clean, getting in and out of the place now!

Weather has been wretched the last week. This is the first day it hasn't been a complete wipe out, and half of it was still rained out which only allowed me to do a wimpy hike. Hiking time: 211 minutes and 33.6 seconds, or 3 hours and 32 minutes. It rained the first hour and it wasn't supposed to and it was supposed to rain the last hour and it didn't.

Took 93 photos of which 49 made the cut. This hike is wimpy enough so that I didn't have to take trekking poles and so could bring and use my tripod almost exclusively. With the tripod, it's much easier to switch lenses quickly and surely, and so I didn't hesitate to swap out a lens for one or two pictures if the scene called for it.

Most of the fisheyes have a "corrected" image following the original. They were corrected with DxO Viewpoint 2. Some are better than others. Some hardly show much difference at all. This was more an exercise for me, to see the kind of images that would be effectively corrected with Viewpoint 2.
