Mt. Talbert Park Loop Trail Clockwise

Hiking time: 96 minutes and 35.70 seconds. On this hike I learned what weather.com means by "0% chance of precipitation" in weather like this, which is lots of rain for two solid weeks with occasional breaks, like the one I went out in, which was supposed to be two hours of 0% chance of precipitation. It means if you're in a grocery store and you run to your car, there's a SLIGHT chance that you won't be soaked to the bone by the time you reach your car. On 96 minute hikes, there is 100% chance of being soaked to the bone by the time you get back to your car.

Only took my 12-40mm f/2.8 lens, because it's one of only two lenses I have that's splash proof and I figured there was a good chance of it getting soaked. Took 41 photos, of which 30 made the cut. I had to reject the very last photo I took because the front of the lens was so soaked there were smudge spots all over the image. I simply put the camera away after that, with still 20 minutes of hiking left. Very good workout, because I was really pushing myself up the hills and often running down the hills when it wasn't treacherously slippery. Not a bad set of images for rushing through the hike with a tripod.
