Close-up of the north side of Mt. Hood. The glacier is one of the most awesome on the mountain: the Coe Glacier. In my day (decades ago) I crossed the snow dome on the lower left and traversed down the overlook onto the Coe Glacier for spectacular, close-up views of of its mind-blowing seracs and crevasses.
