That trail leads to the ridge on the left, which is where I want to be, and which the McNeil Point Trail (ahead intersecting the Timberline Trail) takes me up. The trail shown here however is closed now, for meadow restoration, and has been closed now for years. Amazing that it hasn't overgrown yet. Shows how slowly things grow at this elevation (5,600 feet).
