In the upper left hand corner where you can see a shaft of sunlight, you might be able to see how I managed, not by going OVER the blow down, but by crawling UNDERNEATH it. There was a space underneath it way up there with just enough room for me to wiggle under it. But before I could do that, I had to climb up the steep terrain leading up to that point, and it WAS very steep and the footing terrible, as my feet kept sinking into the rubble and loosely packed fallen vegetation. In order to wiggle under the opening below the blow-down, I had to dismount my two lens cases fastened to my pack waist belt and the camera attached to my pants belt and put all that in my pack, which I had to take off and push through the opening underneath the blow-down in front of me. I was respiring at maximum effort to accomplish all that. It's a good thing I have a strong heart, that's all I can say. A lot of people my age would have croaked on the spot.
