This is at my first rest spot on my way down at 4:29:54 o'clock. I sat there for a half hour recovering my strength when I suddenly noticed this Calypso Orchid. Then I noticed I was in a whole patch of them, ten or twelve of them! My stupid camera didn't want to auto-focus for these close-ups so I put the camera in manual focus to get these sharp images. I had to put the camera almost on the ground and had to tilt the LCD screen to see the image the camera saw as I was kneeling down and holding the camera a couple feet below my head.
