There are great views of spectacular Wahkeena Creek along the trail until it gets almost to the top of the creek, which rushes out of the ground at a spring at an elevation of about 1,200 feet. The trail then leaves the Wahkeena Creek watershed and traverses up to 1,500 feet and back down to 1,200 feet to Multnomah Creek.
