This is the first Spider plate I bought (actually the second: the first got severely bent; this one is only mildly bent), the "Black Widow Thin Plate" that only weighs 1 ounce. It is very flimsy and fragile, easily bent by the weight of the Olympus E-M1 camera, even though this body + lens is much lighter than the equivalent Nikon system it replaced. This Spider Plate is completely unsuited to the Olympus E-M1 system or any micro 4/3 camera body of similar weight.
