This shows the route I used to take to get onto the Elliot Glacier Snow Dome. The route is through the notch between the cliffs in the center of this image. Looks like a technical climb, but that's just because of the foreshortening of the image. It's actually a walk-up (with a mountain axe, of course). You climb up through that notch and up over the high point of the ridge which actually hooks up with the bottom of the Snow Dome. You can't tell from this shot. It looks as if the ridge simply falls away on the other side of it, but it actually connects up with the top of the snow field on the dome at the same elevation of the ridge line.
