This is the beginning of the rock slide you have to cross on the McNeil Point Trail. The first rocks you encounter are so large and have such big steps that they were a problem for my short legs. The "trail" gets easier (for me) as it goes on. But it wasn't a bit of fun for me. The beginning almost thwarted me.
