The very summit of that big hill. I remember walking to the base of that tree and taking a picture of it. It's very impressive close up. I believe that's a White Bark Pine, a relative of the Bristle Cone Pine that gets almost as ancient. A lot of the snags on the south and east side of Mt. Hood are White Bark Pine snags.
