Hiking time: 2 hours and 59 minutes. Holly loop to Beech Trail to Magnolia Trail to Winter Garden to Wildwood Trail to White Pine Trail to Hemlock Trail to Wildwood Trail to Holly Trail back to car. Took 90 photos, of which 57 made the cut. Most of these were taken on a tripod at the minimum ISO of 100.

It was a clear day and therefore cold in the morning, a mere 41°, warming up into the 50's by the time I left three hours later.

I used my new 8 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro flash drive that I got in the mail yesterday. Took 90 pictures (high quality JPEG/RAW) which filled 2 GB, so I don't need any more memory than this. An 8 GB card is big enough to hold 360 images from my camera. My style of photography never takes that many pictures at a single outing, not even at night in the dark, when I'm pretty trigger happy.
