An epic moment in Watkins Glen Grand Prix history! for those unfamiliar with the "Old" Watkins Glen, there was a muddy mess of an area called the Bog. It was a haven for the Beer Drinking folks who tried to cross The Bog with motorcycles, old cars, dune buggies etc. It got out of hand when people stole cars, drove them into the bog and burned them. It got totally Outrageous when someone stole a Greyhound Bus fro a bunch of Argentine tourists and burned that. That nailed the coffin shut on The Bog, The following year it was all fenced in and off limits.
