Jan 26, 2003... I wanted to see if Anna Ruby Falls freezes in the winter... it wasn't frozen, but there was ice all around, breath-takingly beautiful.

They are a little dark, Bruce... I'll be re-doing them when I get a copy of Elements (trial version expired, and payday's too far away). After using Elements, I just don't trust my other software. Hopefully I'll be able to lighten them a wee bit more... I had the EV dialed WAY down due to the bright sunny day. Wendy, I consider you the master of closeup work, so your comments are especially appreciated - thanks! Ben, I'm just happy it was a warm day (it was in the 40s before I was done). :-)

Looking at these pictures, I think I would have brave the weather too. They're beautiful. Each is like a piece of artwork.

Great gallery, Mary. Really interesting shots. Like the close look - I've never seen anything like this.

These all appear just a tad too dark to me. I think the drama of these shots would show better if they were lightened a little.
