Scenes from The Bund and Pudong new area in Shanghai. The Bund is the area along the western shore of the Huangpu River with the old buildings from the colonial era of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Pudong is the new city on the eastern side of the Huangpu River, sprouted up in 1990s from farmland. It is famous for the Lujiazui Financial & Trade Zone and the tallest skyscrapers in China.
