Photographs from the Scientific Expeditions trip to Africa to witness the "Summer Solstice" June 21 total solar eclipse of the sun (see the eclipse gallery) and see many other African sights including a Wild Game Safari at Mala Mala Game Reserve in Kruger National Park, Victorial Falls, a trip by rail on the vintage luxury Rovos Rails steam train from Pretoria to Cape Town, and finally a few days in Cape Town, South Africa. All photos taken with my Olympus OM-1 using Zuiko various lenses and either Kodachrome 64 or Kodak Ekatachrome E200 Professional slide film (for most of the game shots). Most were scanned by Kodak to a Kodak Photo CD, but some have since been rescanned by me using my Polaroid Sprint Scan 35 Plus film scanner.
