Using the transform tool I stretched the little portion of ceiling above the closest light to fill the void area.
This procedure smoothed the area compared to the original image (visible banding),
so I blurred a copy of the original layer and added a layer mask to blend the ceiling transition.
There still seemed to be some artifacts from the transformation, so I added a top layer and tried additional vertical motion blur to the extended ceiling area.
It might be beneficial to add noise back into the blurred area to match the rest of the image.
