Ordinary snapshot of an extraordinary, prize winning iris.
Created two "border" strokes, each on a separate layer.
Duplicated and blurred the background layer.
Applied various adjustments to different stroked areas:
Blurred everything outside lower rectangle.
Color shifted everything outside the top stroke rectangle
and desaturated the color from the protruding area of the lower rectangle.
Just a sample of unlimited variations.
Added layer styles, bevel/emboss and outer glow to the stroke layers
to help define the black strokes in dark areas of the image.
The layer styles almost give the illusion of stained glass came.
