Y2K quilt, on queen size bed

The concept of this quilt was to trade packets of 25 two and one half inch fabric squares with other quilters using the internet. For the Y2K theme, the finished quilt was to have 2000 squares with no two alike. (Except for a single intentional duplication to try and find) and be finished by January 1, 2000. Bunny also made it a goal to include squares from quilters living in every state in the US and as many foreign countries as possible. (She collected all 50 plus 13 foreign countries) Signature squares from all traders are included in the quilt border.

other sizes: small medium original auto

This is an awesome quilt. There is no way a price tag can be put on this amazing craft. I bought an antique quilt yrs ago for 50.00 and have yet to frame it on the wall. However, it is still my goal.

Bunny....What a beautiful quilt! And the story behind it is fascinating. I envy you your quilting skills. Shirley (your long, lost, cousin-in-law)
