Left and Right eye images were taken with about 4 inch lateral camera spacing. Images were then sized and oriented into a single image to match the dimensions of old stereoscope photos. Gray background and text title were added. The print is mounted on posterboard for viewing in an antique stereoscope.
Improvement for future prints: Increasing picture highth to create square images (instead of rectangular) would fill the stereoscope field of view. The genuine antique images that I have are taller with rounded image top borders. It might also be interesting to print on transparent paper or film for backlight viewing.
