As we all know, tubes were rendered useless by the onslaught of the transistor.

$20 bucket of tubes

Had two Telefunken 12AX7 and all kinds of groovy stuff.

Mesa 6L6GC-STR420

Mesa never made any tubes but I have gotten some very good tubes that were Mesa branded. These came in my late 1960s modded Silverface Fender Bassman. They are not that old but I'm not sure what they are yet.

I haven't looked up the Special Tube Order 420 but it rings a bell.
