Something here is dodgy. I had maybe 8 hours or so on it with no real problems. Then it started to make a pretty bad loud distorty noise when jostled. Pretty scary. Independant of channels.
So started tapping around and there is a definite bad noise when I tap on this board. The board is pretty much suspended on wires going through the metal and nothing on the other side makes that noise when tapped. There is another pair of wires that seems unrelated that is extremely microphonic when tapped on the other side I'll have to look into.
Swapped out all the tubes and cleaned/tensioned the tube sockets with no change to the symptoms.
