I guess it's a copy of something from the early 60s. Has a nice long tenon neck joint. The stock pickups were a little too weak and vintagy for my tastes. The bridge pup measured 6.66 though which kind of satanically funny.
I was feeling adventurous one day so ordered a Gibson Tony Iommi signature pickup. It is ok but not worth the money (like everything else made by Gibson). It ended up being my favorite neck pickup for this guitar but not by much. The Carvin C22B just slaughtered it for bridge position.
So the bridge position is actually a Carvin C22B with a cover on it! Of course I adjusted the individual polepieces appropriately before putting the cover on. It looks really cool.
