Made in Japan. The instrument I first learned on. Recently borrowed it from mom to fix it up.
It has a laminated top so the back and sides are preseumably laminated too. It sure sounds good though! It is a grand concert size, so it is very nicely balanced across the tonal spectrum but is not as loud or deep as a full size dreadnaught.
I reglued 2 top braces, made a new saddle, polished the crap out of it, put it in very high humidity, and levelled, dressed, and polished the frets. I just put the tuners on yesterday and it sounds really good now that you can get it precisely in tune. I have it set up to be as easy as possible to play first-position chords for my mom's small weak old-lady hands. So it has Elixer .9 - .47 strings and minimal relief.
