Day 9
Our last day in Maun camp we had a fantastic breakfast buffet.
Then we left Maun to go to the Moremi National Park. There we saw a lot of animals like these two zebras.
A very beautiful giraf in Moremi.
We saw a lot of different kinds of deer, this is a female kudu.
Then we arrived to our next camp area and it was again in front of a pool full of hippos!
Again a different kind of deer, these are red-lechwes (the only ones that run in the water).
This is an inside view of our truck. It was open in the front so we could stand and have a better view of the landscape.
Warthogs are very funny animals, always running with their tail up.
This is a hyena. Not a very beautiful animal but always interesting to see.
Baboons were also very difficult to spot.
Our guide joking said that impalas are the bush Mc Donald's cause they have the black M "painted" in their backside.
We came back to our camp and again we saw the hippos.
First and only time we saw a hippo out of the water. Doesn't it look like a pig?
Moment to take out our backpacks and mount our tents. That night we could very clearly hear lions roaring every 10mts!!!
