 Our fith day we went to the Okavango Delta. This is the mokoro (wooden canue) station where we had lunch. |
 From the mokoro station the locals took us for a two hour visit through the canals until our camp. |
 From our mokoro we could look back and say hi to Jens and Verena :) |
 The Delta was full of waterlilies. |
 In the small canals we had to advance in a single line. |

 During the two hour trip we stopped a couple of times to strech our legs and stay a bit in the shadow (it was so hot!!!) |
 We also saw a lot of dragonflies of different colours. |
 We arrived to a big pool of water where we saw hippos for the first time. They are really impressive animals! |
 Just 100m from the hypos we arrived to our camp. The truck was already there and our guide had cooked a delicious meal for us. |
 After some rest we went for a second trip in mokoro. Sitting in the mokoro is very funny because of being so close to the water. |
 From the mokoros we could see very well the landscape of the Okavango Delta. |
 We also saw different kinds of birds and other animals. |
 We saw the hippos again and this time they made more noise... |
 Our mokoro had a water filtering problem and when we arrived to the camp we went to the fire to try to dry our trousers ;) |
