Day 15
Our second morning in Zimbabwe we went to visit the Victoria Falls. That's me in front of the statue of Livingstone.
It was 6:30 in the morning and the light on the falls was amazing.
Happy couple in front of the Devil's fall.
Another view of the Devil's fall.
You can see the two rainbows behind us very clearly!
Map of the Victoria Falls. It's one of the longest waterfals in the world.
Later in the afternoon we went for a helicopter trip to have a bird view of the falls.
Francis took some very nice pictures.
A beautiful view of the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi river.
Even if we saw the Victoria Falls during the dry season, they were impressive (we'll have to go back to see them full power ;)
After the helicopter ride we went for a sunset cruise in the river. Francis and Jens are about to enjoy their rum with coke.
Our guide Erasmus joined us for the lovely cruise.
Verena and me (with George and Annie in the back).
The two couples enjoying the cruise :)
Carol and Tom look great in this picture!
That night we went to a very typical restaurant for a local dinner (I'm holding a certificate cause I ate a rosted worm!)
