Day 14
Our first morning in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) we decided to go rafting in the Zambezi river.
Before actually getting in the raft we got some useful security information.
That is us getting in one of the rapids!
I have to say we ended up drinking a lot of water from the river.
Oops, the raft is tilting dangerously!
Francis went overboard and now is trying to get in again.
Hello everybody!
After the exciting experience it was time for a delicious meal by the river.
In the afternoon we went for an elephant safari.
The first elephant came to greet us.
They let us caress them and it was surprising how hard the skin of the elephants is.
Watching animals from the back of an elephant is a whole different experience than from the truck!
Francis, our guide and me ridding Jack. He was 31 years old and was the oldest elephant of the safari.
These elephants came also with us. They're being trainned to be safari elephants in the future.
Later on they let us feed Jack (it was really sweet!).
Our very friendly elephant Jack is saying bye to us!
