Day 10
We woke up at 5 am because they say that early in the morning there's a better chance to see animals.
30mts after leaving camp our guide told us: "don't get excited but there's a lepard in that tree" (where???)
We got a bit closer and then we saw it, wow!!!
I couldn't believe it, we were looking at a real predator and he was just lying on the branch of the tree like we weren't there.
I thought we were close enough but our guide said we could get even closer...
What a magnificent animal!!!
Funny how these birds walk in line...
A giraffe eating from very high branches.
They are very graceful animals (I never get tired of watching them).
Apparently zebras, due to their peculiar colouring of the skin, are the animals who can stay longer under the burning sun.
A male impala. You can recognize it because of the big horns.
At some point our guide stopped the truck and said: "a herd of elephants is approaching". Really impressive.
They didn't feel threatened by us (we were just an inmobile object in their way) but this elephant made some funny moves.
One of the few wildebeast we saw.
Back in camp, time for a beer!
Sonia, Jens and Verena also joined ;)
