Ouch! I wouldn't want to have a home under those cliffs. They look perilous. We were there just for a night and thought the city looked scary to live in, and I know it is indeed earthquake-prone. I also remember how cold the wind was, as it sifted along the plain at the top, even though it was mid-March and not the cold time of year. I guess at least in the ravine, the population is sheltered. Thanks for the sounvenir - since I got no photos in the short time we were there.
