I just love it when people capture that glow coming through the leaves .. you've done it with gusto here ... beautiful!

Faye - you and Elizabeth Glass have both captured remarkable images with very similarly composed subjects. Elizabeth recently posted a lovely picture of fall leaves - with a wonderfully executed "layering" effect - here . You've done the same thing here, with gorgeous results, as well. I particularly like the way you've composed the first layer of leaves to cover about 2/3 of the frame - with the remaining 1/3 for the more distant, yellow leaves in the background. The sky color is perfect, and your DOF management in the closest layer of leaves is right on. Another beautiful image, Faye - very well done! :)

Lights shine through "curly" leaves, neat idea, balance between translucency and shadow... Wonderful!
Its not until I opened this up, I realised how good it really was. The light is superb and the dark rims around some of the leaves, as well as the contrast between the twigs and the backlit leaves really make the shot. Great One, Faye!
