In the rocks just to the left of me, is a den with the mother fox and 3 kits.

We were all distressed to see that Lady Slippers were dissappearing from all the woodlands.
And we found out why! Thanks to 2 articles, one in Smithsonian mag and the other in
Nature Conservancy mag, its the overpopulated deer heards.
Yes, we did see this ourselves.
