Touch plate System on a house in Westwood (los angeles area, where UCLA is) I replaced the two panels to the left from a crappy zinsco system to a Murray. Wire nuts were necessary instead of replacing whole runs in the house. The touch plate system on the right looks pretty medieval, but once you learn it, and how to diagnose it, it's not that bad. Still, nearly all the Electricians in LA wont even touch it, and have no clue where to get parts for it. Why I love my job and a Boss who actually put these buggers in the 50's.
