I worked with the tigers,with Steve bull 1971.ginger Eaton was in charge of big cat reserves,ithen went into giraffe and zebra house as head keeper. i remember a lot of the lads that worked their.these our just a few of them Tim Durante babboons Allen Thomas(mush)lion res I was his best man when he married linda,flipper (rhinos} Doug cartlidge Barry and Jeff (dolphins)Jeff maggs Jeff wilson elephants.I was sorry to hear Jeff had died.big Jim mcnab head of all sections,untill garry smart took over he was a charactor.those are just some iv mentioned. oh butch Lilly Francis renndal. i wonder were they all are now. best regards Paul wiseman.

Hello and thanks for the flash back!
I was head keeper of reptiles back in about '76 and took over from Kevin Ward (who i have remained friends with )it was a mad fun time with some nice people. I would like to hear how Simon Compton-hall (Bottom section/Tigers) is doing now. Regards to all.

I think the building down the bottom was the nocturnal house. I worked with Terry,but if I remember it was not all good times at Windsor, Granada TV CORP had just taken over. There was a strike and a picket line to cross. My name is Lee Chanona, a lot of water has gone under the bridge! I remember alot of good and bad times,I there around the mid/late 70s. Killer whales had been sold one to the U.S and one I think to Hong Kong. I will keep intouch with the website now I have found it.

to you all I never knew that there were people that are keeping the best memories a windalsorean alive I like to gve you my favourt memorie to share and that is at the age of six i would wake early and open my window and listen to either the loins or elephants. i then imaganed that I was in africa on holiday to which I have never been still to this day I would long to hear those sounds again!! my friends think I am mad but I will refuse to enter those gates as long as they just say lego land!! what would of hurt those bigwig to keep an areas educated and fun place and made lego safari?? it would of save stress on the animals!!
The only good thin I get out of legoland is fireworks!!
I miss safari park so much
