The Troy of Trojan War (1300 ~ 900BC), that Greek poet Homer's ILiad was based on, was the 7th successive civilization. The initial discovery was by a German businessman Heinrich Schliemann. Most of its artifacts are now on display in museums in Germany and Russia.
