My sister and I took the mandetory week off during our companies' shutdown in July 2001, we combined our own vacation time, flew to South Africa at the last minute with very little planning and little knowledge about the country we were about to visit. It turned out to be the most adventurous trip we've ever had. We were there to see the animals. We saw plenty and there is no comparison between animals you see in the zoo to these nature bred wild beasts. We were very impressed by the beauty of the country and the advance tourism development. We were even more impressed by the beauty of the people we came across. All pictures are taken with P&S film cameras unless specified.
