This section captures a small percentage of what I actually saw. Because the roads were mostly bumpy and full of potholes, and there was no seat belt in my SUV, I decided to leave the camera in the bag and simply took it all in with my eyes.

The highest place our vehical traveled through was over 5800 meters, and the highest place I spent the night was more than 4700 meters high. Lhasa, the capital city was the lowest on the altitude scale, at almost 3600 meters above sea level.
