Palace on Water

We went to an optional piano recital of Chopin's music at the Palace on Water - the Polish kings' private residence. When the last king was forced to resign in 1795, Warsaw soon became part of the Russian empire. The Russian tsars loved this palace so much, they changed it into their private residence.
