Magellanic Penguins were probably the least attractive penguin variety we saw on this trip. They live in the Falkland Islands and southern Argentina and Chile. They can reach 70 cm in height and between 3-6 kg in weight. They can live up to 25 years. They tend to build nests in burrows and raise two chicks at a time.
