Known for its waterfalls - a rarity in northern California, the park nests deep in a Swedish community with creeks running through most of the park, and redwoods, manzanitas as well as madrone covering various sections of the same area and beyond. It is a dogs and kids friendly park with no bikers or runners on the trail at any time. Bring them along and plenty of snacks for a picnic in the park any time of the year! There is a fee for entry.
