Maligne Canyon is one of the most spectacular gorges in the Canadian Rockies. Its vertical limestone walls plunge to depths of over 165 ft. A trail follows the canyon rim across six bridges, where you can catch the spray and mist rising from the Maligne River. In winter, if properly equipped, guide, helmet and crampons you can walk on the canyon floor or ice climb the walls.
