The highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. This is the classic image found on a million photos, calendars and books. It is more impressive in real life as there are no glimpses to warn you the view is coming, you drive round a corner of the road and there it is. Unfortunately the equally stupendous north face and Berg Lake are not visible from the road and require a long walk in on a trail where access is restricted to a few permits daily to protect the natural environment.
