Longbredy village school is now a private residence. The modern wide gate replaces a much narrower one that was the entry for the 'senior' classes, children 8-11. This is towards the north end of the building, another small gate near the south end was for the younger children. The gravel covers the old playground, although most playtimes were spent on the hill on the other side of the road. Access to that is fenced now.
