Many years ago I witnessed one of these cars driven by a VIP mow down an elderly woman on the centre of a Zebra Crossing.
There were a lot of witnesses, we all went to the Old Bailey for the court case, every witness described how dangerously the car was being driven, the woman was very lucky to survive.
Of course the VIP walked away virtually without punishment.
My first lesson in the equality of life.
