Anyone want breakfast

An image from 2002, taken with a Sony 2.5MP camera.
Given the inside lighting, the colour rendition is remarkably good. I wish I had taken a series of pictures of this image over the years to compare.

How is it you can use a camera in French art galleries and take pictures of some of the greatest works of art, whereas in my home city you are forbidden to.

I'm with you on this.Pull out a camera in the Canadian National Gallery and more blazers and flannels than any one thought existed will appear out of nowhere. Mean while Reid is busy photographing his way through all the European galleries with beautiful results.

I agree Exzim. In the Greenwich Observatory I asked a guard if I could take a photo of a clock, a very special clock. I was told in no uncertain terms If I attempted to take any photos I would be thrown out. Then just to spoil my visit he followed me around staring at me to make sure I did not. It did spoil my visit very much. I visited the NRA museum at Bisley, asked a guard if I could take a photo of an exhibit. Of course you can he said anything you like. He saw me trying to get a shot of one object where there were a few people standing in front. He asked them to move out of the way so I could get the shot. They all moved and one said sorry for getting in my way.
