Teisha Bridge is located in the Sankeien Gardens - Yokohama. The gardens were created by a wealthy silk trader in the 17th century.
'Teisha' meaning 'bus stop / train stop' amusingly infers the way which this charming bridge may be used to meet and chat with passing pedestrians.
The bridge itself is narrow and in the middle is located this roofed area with bench seats. Built with Japanese cedar wood (hinoki).
