and the winner is --> aboitiz' superferry 12!
after sulpicio lines' princess of the stars sank last june 21, 2008 due to the typhoon frank. the two ships sailed from manila to cebu during that same day but the ships fate depends on its captain. the superferry hid somewhere to safety long before they encountered the rough seas while the princess of the stars proceed only to face its horrible end.
