Mystery was waltzing with the dawn
as ghosts of time stood watch,
and we wondered at their stance.

Time was but a friend we could not trust
as we wandered meadow dews
wishing we could share the dance.

Mystery was waltzing with the dawn.
as morning blessed another day.
Sunbeams kissed the fog with lumens lance.

Time could touch the ghosts no longer.
Birthing light was growing stronger
and the mystery was losing its romance.
