a peaceful evening in my favorite spot overlooking the mohawk, time alone with the wildlife, one of my roommates stopping by with his friend mike on the phone giving updates on the eclipse from san francisco when it was too light for us in new york state, and making new friends whose backyard turned out to be my favorite spot. and i wonder why i don't get up at 4am every morning. yawn. :)
