View of the Vltava
Although the water didn't look too clean, it was still an amazing river and even better view of the city (Prague Castle in the background).

Up or Down?
One of the many staircases in Prague Castle. Chrissi and I are both clumsy people and almost tripped ourselves to death several times on this trip :p

Peering into the Dungeon
This dungeon was pretty scary looking. It looked like it could have been featured in a horror movie.

Lunch!
The first of many great, unhealthy meals that I enjoyed on this trip.

The Roof is on Fire
The ceiling of the Municipal Concert House in Prague. Famous for it's Operas, Ballets, and Orchestras.

Show Time
...we actually went to see a Opera/Ballet here while we were in town. The word "bad" would be an overstatement. Or maybe we just weren't sophisticated enough to see the "art" in the performances :p Either way it was still an experience.

Flower Power
View of the ceiling of one of the rooms at Prague Castle.

If the house is a-rockin'
I made Chrissi walk to the top of this building so she could let the world know just how much she loves to rock.

Focus on the Words
Please don't ask me what any of this means. I'll just use any excuse possible to play around with depth-of-field :)

Dungeon Roof
Pražský Hrad (Prague Castle) was full of surprises. We stumbled upon a tiny entrance leading down to this strange looking room. Chrissi caught me in action taking pictures:

The Eiffel Tower of the East
This is the Petřínská rozhledna (Petřín lookout tower), overlooking the city. From this angle it looks impressive, but in reality it was pretty tiny. If you are an uber-nerd you can read more about it

Heaven
A shot of the cathedral in the Old Town Square in Prague. I metered on the sun in order to bring out the dark blue colors from the sky and to create a silhouette of the tower.

Hell
Here is a good example of how you can use White Balance to completely change the mood of a photo. Shooting in RAW mode gives you the flexibility to change it after the photo has already been taken. And since this is an "on camera" feature, this picture is technically not considered photo-shopped.

Big Mouths
Having fun at Zrcadlové Bludištĕ (Mirror Maze) up at Petrin Hill. This picture is actually fitting, seeing as how I eat as much as two people on a daily basis. (Chrissi can attest to that)

Czech Ninjas
Did you know that 3 percent of the Czech Republic's population are certified Ninjas? It's true, according to a survey that I just made up in my head.

Trippin'
More fun at the mirror maze.

Accordion Rock
We visited the world famous U Fleku beer hall in Prague. Great beer, music, and tables of people singing the beloved drinking songs of their countries. Awesome vibe, but too bad their isn't an official American drinking song :(

Liquid Diet
At U Fleku you don't order a beer, they just drop one in front of you when you sit down. And although their selection of brew consisted of only one variety, it was still one of the best of the trip.
The word for "Yes" in Czech is "No". So, when asked if you'd like another beer, the correct answer is to nod your head up and down and say "No".

Ouch
One of the many statues around Prague Castle.

Bumpy Metro
Each Metro station in Prague had a different theme / layout. I liked this one the best.
10-APR-2007
Salvador Dali and Friend
They had a big Salvador Dali exhibit in town while we were there. Chrissi is displaying one of her favorites pieces here.
10-APR-2007
Chrissi's Big Ass Pack
I'm pretty sure we could have fit an entire human body inside her backpack. Thankfully we never got a chance to prove my theory.

De-railed
A very long day of travelling.
